Grace Nugent Named Finalist for Women in Food and Agriculture Leader of the Year

We’re pleased to share some excellent news from the De Lacy Executive team. 

Our Managing Director, Grace Nugent, has been announced as a finalist for the Women in Food and Agriculture – Leader of the Year award. This recognition reflects the commitment, energy and expertise Grace brings not only to De Lacy Executive, but to the wider agricultural sector.

Grace has been part of the business for more than 15 years. During that time, she has progressed through several senior roles before stepping into the position of Managing Director in 2024. Her leadership approach is grounded in high standards, genuine support for her team and a consistent willingness to help others develop. 

A strong advocate for continuous learning and collaboration, Grace has always been keen to connect with fellow leaders across the industry. In 2025, she launched the Leaders Lunch Club, an initiative designed to bring agricultural leaders together to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and share best practice. The two events held last year were extremely well received, generating thoughtful discussion and new relationships across the sector.

We are incredibly proud of Grace’s achievements and the positive impact she continues to make. Her place among this year’s finalists is thoroughly deserved, and we look forward to the announcement of the winner in Amsterdam on 24 February.
