Meet the Team

Stuart Goodinson

Stuart Goodinson; Managing Director

Stuart was born and bred in rural Northumberland. After leaving Seale Hayne, Stuart started his career as an agronomist, selling arable input supplies to farmers in Devon, he then moved on to sales management, sales director, business and project management across the arable, machinery, horticulture and dairy sector. Stuart's last role before moving to De Lacy was as country manager UK, Ireland and South Africa for a global animal nutrition business. Stuart's passion has always been for people and people development within business.

Grace Nugent

Grace Nugent; General Manager

Grace joined the De Lacy Executive team in 2011. She has worked her way up through the company and now manages the recruitment team, whilst still dealing with key clients. Grace is a farmer's daughter, giving her a strong understanding of the agricultural sector. The home farm is a mixed arable and sheep farm in Worcestershire in which she takes a very practical interest. She has worked in New Zealand where she was in charge of running two stations. She graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business Management. She thoroughly enjoys travelling, reading and the rural way of life.

Lauren Holloway

Lauren Holloway; Recruitment Team Lead

Lauren grew up in Worcestershire with a passion for the Countryside, Agriculture and Equestrian pursuits. Lauren completed her MRes in Equestrian Performance and BSc (Hons) Equestrian Sports Science at Hartpury College. Prior to joining the team here at De Lacy Executive she worked as the Therapy and Rehabilitation Manager for a well-known Equestrian Centre in Gloucestershire. Lauren enjoys countryside sports and is particularly interested in showing her horses, photography, agricultural shows and walking her terrier Hollie.

Jadine Huxtable

Jadine Huxtable; Recruitment Consultant

Jadine has worked in the agricultural supply industry since graduating from Hartpury College in 2009, during which time she developed considerable experience in a range of sales and technical support roles, primarily in the ruminant sector. Ruminant Nutrition runs deep throughout Jadine's family and remains a passion of hers today, and she recently completed a Diploma in Ruminant Nutrition at Harper Adams University College. Having taken a short career break to start her own family, Jadine joined De Lacy Executive as a Recruitment Consultant in 2017.

Alex Wheeler

Alex Wheeler; Recruitment Consultant

Alex is based in the Midlands and has had a strong, long-term agricultural and equine interest. Having not come from an Agricultural background, Alex has worked her way into the industry through a variety of practical roles, ranging from AI technician to teaching Agriculture and Equine Studies, before joining us at De Lacy Executive. Her main passion is within the animal sector, having had a keen interest in pedigree livestock for many years.

In her spare time Alex enjoys attending County Shows with her own flock of pedigree sheep and exploring the countryside with her collie Jen.

Jon Handley

Jon Handley; Recruitment Consultant

Jon joins De Lacy Executive from a teaching background, as Head of Geography in secondary education. Being part of a sheep and arable farming family, Jon has gained a range of agricultural machinery experience along with a passion for supporting the agriculture industry more widely. After 10 years in teaching, Jon has taken a change of direction to transfer his experience into strengthening and growing De Lacy Executive's agricultural machinery portfolio.

Annie Smith

Annie Smith; Recruitment Consultant

Annie is born and bred out of the Cotswolds. She loves her country sports but most importantly horses and dogs! She likes to get out and about as much as possible in her spare time. She has built up a wide range of knowledge in the Agricultural, Equine and Companion Animal industries throughout her education, work and personal life. She graduated from Hartpury College in 2015, took a gap year to travel, and then started on her quest to become a successful businesswoman.

Rachel Murray

Rachel Murray;

Rachel is based in Shropshire and has always had a passion for the countryside. She has worked predominantly in the equine industry since 2013 in a range of practical roles, from stud management to Teaching Equine Studies for an Agricultural college, before joining the team at De Lacy Executive. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking and sport, with a particular interest in eventing.

Duncan Shaw

Duncan Shaw; Recruitment Consultant

Duncan has joined De Lacy from a retail management background with a strong desire to step into the agricultural sector. Despite a limited Agri-background, Duncan's knowledge of the industry is always expanding through our training programme and his growing love of the industry. De Lacy is keen to develop and bring fresh new talent into the industry and Duncan has been the first step in this. Utilising his transferable management experience into recruitment, Duncan has brought a fresh twist and some great new ideas to our team.

Caroline  Jones

Caroline Jones ; Office and Finance Manager

Caroline is De Lacy Executive's office manager, responsible for finance, database management, event planning and general enquiries. Caroline previously worked in the equine industry before moving into hospitality and events management.

Shannon Wasley

Shannon Wasley; Office and Teams Administrator

Shannon has come from a strong office based background, previously working in the MOD sector. Shannon has joined De Lacy supporting the team with all office and administrative duties from general enquires to finance. Shannon enjoys travellingl as much as possible, having spent some previous years working and living abroad.
