Trainee Grain Buyer - East Midlands/Cambs/Norfolk

De Lacy Executive are looking for Trainee Farm Grain Buyers in the East Midlands/East Anglian region. We are looking for young people who either have agricultural connections within the locality or a strong arable farming background. Ideally, candidates will have some previous commercial or sales experience and be looking for the next step in their career. Recent graduates with no previous commercial experience but with excellent communication skills, determination and ambition will be considered.
The role will be largely office based however there will be some opportunity to visit on farm too. The successful candidate will be working within an established and experienced grain trading team and so there will be full training and support.
You must have:
- Fantastic communication and team playing skills.
- A strong background in arable farming
- An agricultural or relevant degree/HND would be a significant advantage
- Good IT literacy skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Existing contacts/relationships within the locality - helpful but not essential.
- Ambition and a determination to succeed.
A competitive starting package will be offered with regular reviews and rapid progression for able candidates.
