Arable Agronomist (or Trainee ) - North West of England - BASIS qualified

A vacancy has arisen for an Arable Agronomist within a very successful national company servicing farmers around the country.

Do you have up to date knowledge of arable agronomy and want to progress your commercial career within a supportive, rewarding and ambitious company?

We are seeking an experienced BASIS qualified Agronomist, to join a successful and innovative UK Arable Provider offering a wide range of products and services to leading UK Arable farmers. Candidates must have at least 1 -2 years Crop Consultancy or Arable Agronomy experience. Further training and support are available for the right person.

We are particularly seeking candidates based in Lancashire and Cheshire or South Cumbria.

Trainees with ambition and strong motivation will also be considered - local farming knowledge could be an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous arable agronomy experience - or may have worked as an arable farm manager and be seeking a new challenge?

- Excellent knowledge of arable farming and arable crops

- Candidates may have a relevant HND, Foundation Degree or Degree in Agriculture, Science, or similar, although this is not essential.

- BASIS qualified (not necessary if a TRAINEE as full training can be given to the right individual).

- Good communications skills both verbal and written

- A confident and determined manner

- Attention to detail.

- Able to sell crop protection products, fertiliser, etc

- A flexible approach to work and managing changing workloads

- Full driving licence
