Commercial Lead Seed Treatment - EMEA

Significant career opportunity!

An experienced and professional commercial manager is sought to take up this Commercial Lead role and to grow the seed treatment business of this well-known and well respected agrochemical manufacturer across Europe, Middle East and Africa across a portfolio of fungicide and insecticide seed treatment products. Maintaining existing sales and securing new business and so delivering sales revenue budgets. Product portfolio management. Leading new product launches to agreed timeframes and assisting the search for new innovations and new products to launch in the future. Also co-ordinating distribution and direct sales organisations across the EMEA region to achieve individual country targets. Working directly with a small high calibre team of professionals to assist with ambitious global strategy and develop regional strategy.

Candidate sought will have:

  • • Commercial management experience either within the UK or Europe
  • • A history of proven success in execution of seed treatment or an agrochemical sector business objectives across a multinational geography, preferably in EMEA.
  • • Sector knowledge
  • • The ability to position products properly within their life cycles from marketing & technical standpoints
  • • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • • A high level of energy and hands on management style
  • • Ability to deliver the true potential of both a well-established & newly developing portfolio of products and people.
  • • Home based but required willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region as required.

Experience and skills

  • • 5-10 years of proven commercial success in EMEA within Seed Treatment or Agrochemicals
  • • Graduate calibre preferred
  • • Excellent Leadership skills with a focus on business and team development
  • • Strategic thinker able to execute tactical plans
  • • Strong communicator across a multinational geography
  • • Highly motivated

This role offers a significant opportunity to quickly grow a business with a new range of seed treatment products on top of a base legacy of premium products. Leading by example is a pre-requisite for the position.
