UK - Nationwide

A role at the heart of agri-tech innovation, bringing new ideas closer to real-world demand across the agri-food sector.

You will draw on your network and commercial insight to help technologies gain traction, build meaningful partnerships, and position the organisation as a trusted partner in delivering credible, high-impact innovation.

If you thrive on connecting innovation with industry need and enjoy influencing, convening and shaping conversations across the supply chain, this is the role for you.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Agri-Supply Chain Engagement Manager, you will act as a bridge between innovation pipelines and industry customers, ensuring emerging technologies are aligned with commercial realities and sector demand.

Key responsibilities include:

 *  Delivering an engagement strategy that raises awareness of emerging and newly launched agri-tech solutions across the agri-food sector

*  Working with supply chain and network partners to ensure technologies are demonstrated in relevant commercial environments

*  Gathering and communicating robust evidence around ROI, productivity, sustainability and commercial viability

*  Positioning the organisation as a trusted, independent broker of credible innovation

*  Supporting the integration of new competencies into CPD schemes and advisory frameworks

*  Translating technical outputs into clear, commercially relevant narratives for farmers, advisors, processors, retailers and policymakers

*  Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with industry customers and supply chain stakeholders

*  Representing the organisation at key industry events and forums

 About You

You will already be well connected within the UK agri food sector and comfortable operating at the interface between innovation, commercial decision making and industry adoption.

You are likely to have experience in:

*  A strong existing network across farming, agri-tech, advisory or food supply chain organisations

*  Proven ability to build partnerships with industry bodies and professional organisations

*  Confidence translating technical innovation into compelling, commercially grounded messaging

*  Strong influencing, stakeholder engagement and management, and communication skills

*  A systems-thinking mindset.  Understanding how innovation, skills, adoption and impact connect

Why this role?

This is a rare opportunity to shape how innovation is adopted, not just developed.  You will play a pivotal role in accelerating technologies that deliver tangible value across the agri-food supply chain, whilst working with some of the most forward-thinking stakeholders in the sector.
