Are you a commercially minded, strategic thinker with an eye for the bigger picture?
My client, a prominent player in the meat processing industry, is seeking a switched on, well organised Account Manager to join their management team.
As Account Manager you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, monitor inventory levels and cut costs.
The commercial aspect of this position will include market analysis, identifying growth opportunities and liaising with suppliers.
Previous account management/commercial experience in the agricultural sector is a requirement for this position. A beef or dairy background would be advantageous.
The role:
- Management of suppliers/external stakeholders
- Work closely with different departments to ensure supply chain runs smoothly
- Market analysis
- Work with relevant departments to create and implement strategies
- Manage cross-functional projects
- Supplier performance reviews
- Cost management
- Improve efficiency within the supply chain
- Monitor inventory levels
About you:
- Background in account management, procurement, food supply chain or similar
- Commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Able to travel nationally for supplier meetings
- Beef/dairy background (Desirable)
