Farm Manager - Russia
We are seeking a farm manager for an 8k hectare farm in southern Russia growing winter wheat (50% of the area), maize, sunflower and linseed. The farm is well established with good infrastructure and facilities. A team of up to 6 permanent employees report into this role. Additional land will be obtained. Located in the Stavropol area and approximately 500km from Rostov. An interpreter is available as required.
A fully serviced house is provided plus a vehicle and a living allowance. There are 4 free return flights provided each year plus medical insurance. Basic salary is circa £50k with some bonus provision.
The vacancy has arisen due to family illness requiring the current manager to return home to the UK.
Our client is a UK based business with farming interests in a number of different countries.
The ideal candidate will have experience of large scale arable farming and capable of managing the field operations and leading the team.
