Working within a key agricultural region, you will take ownership of an established territory, building long-term relationships with farmers and rural businesses while driving sustainable commercial growth.

The Opportunity

As Area Sales Manager, you will act as the trusted representative of the business across South West Scotland, providing customers with expert advice, practical solutions, and access to a comprehensive portfolio of agricultural products and services.

This role offers a high degree of autonomy, enabling you to manage your territory effectively while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, growers, and rural businesses.

• Promote a broad range of agricultural products and services tailored to customer requirements.

• Provide practical technical advice and support to customers.

• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow existing accounts.

• Maintain a visible presence within the agricultural community through regular farm visits, agricultural shows, and industry events.

• Work closely with internal colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

• Proven experience within agricultural sales.

• A strong understanding of UK farming systems and current agricultural challenges.

• Excellent relationship-building and account management skills.

• A proactive and commercially focused approach.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.

• A full UK driving licence.
