Located in Hereford, Votex Hereford has been manufacturing machinery since the 1960s. The first machine manufactured by the company was the PT rotary topper, which the company kept producing until a change in ownership and location came in 1996. The new owner of Votex invested in CNC machines and added a new engineering department to the company structure. All parts were made in-house from this point on, which helped in the aim to consistently achieve high quality products, and it also enabled the company to perform contract work for other clients. Votex provides products to clients in a number of industries, with the main four being agriculture, professional contracting, amenities, and forestry. Machines offered by Vortex Hereford include rotary, flail, reach mowers, vacuums, blowers, wood chippers, and forestry flails.
