The Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society
With charitable status, no beneficial owners, and subscribing members, the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society was founded in 1833, and was incorporated by an Act of the States of Jersey in 1994. The goal of the Society is to promote and develop agriculture and horticulture.
The Society aims to encourage the production of local produce, breeding of quality cattle, and to represent the interest of its members as well as providing information and services to members. The Society offers a wide range of advice and information to members on agriculture and horticulture to ensure that these two sectors are maintained and developed.
