The Royal Bath & West Show features a range of shows, exhibitors, attractions and events throughout the year. The Show has built strong relationships with exhibitors and has developed a reputation for the wide variety of exhibitors. Despite this great reputation, animals are still the foundation of the show. There are several 'best in show' competitions for the UK's best livestock, including pigs, sheep, cattle, alpacas, and goats. There is also a Poultry & Small Animals Zone, as well as terrier racing, gun dogs and heavy horse features. Throughout the show, the British Cheese Awards provides visitors with the opportunity to taste and view some of the best cheese in Britain. The Royal Bath & West Show is also home to the British Cider Championships, Grassland UK, The Dairy Show, and The Agricultural Machinery & Equipment Show. The Horticultural Village and the Sports Village are also featured. Both of the villages are interactive sections and educational opportunities for attendees. Finally, there are several family activities and attractions available, including a narrow gauge railway, Imagineering fair, demonstrations, Living Countryside Area, Village School, Canoe Village, and Village Green.
