Established in 1997, The Farm Consultancy Group (FCG) provides consulting services to rural businesses and farmers. A private limited company, FCG has a number of different consulting services including farm business consultancy, grass and forage management, dairy consulting, farm diversification advice, organic production, planning applications and appeals, environmental schemes and climate change, cap reform and single payments, NVZ regulations and record keeping, rural grants, and training.

FCG consultants are specialists in the majority of UK agriculture and farming aspects. FCG considers numerous variables when assessing a client's business. In order to properly administer advice to clients, FCG works with management to determine technical and business skill levels, and often works with management to reorganise the use of resources for the business. Additionally, consultants regularly go through mandatory training, and maintain strong relationships with professionals in the banking and service industries to ensure that they can effectively help clients.
