Silage Advisory Centre

Promoting silage science, the Silage Advisory Centre works with farmers to help with decision-making in a number of activities including forage, grassland and silage production management. The Centre aims to aid livestock farmers throughout the UK and Ireland in the production of nutritional and quality silage. The centre does this by promoting research and better practices and providing clients with practical tools, access to information, and expert advice.

The company performs independent field trials and research projects; supports forums and seminars involving grassland, dairy, and livestock farmers; and also publishes a variety of tools, studies and reports that they share with farmers. Silage Advisory Centre has already garnered interest from several market leading companies, including Dow Europe, Kuhn Farm Machinery, Mole Valley Farmers, and the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences.
