Edward Vinson

Growing fruit for more than 150 years, Edward Vinson is located in the South East of England and specialises in premium varieties of berries and plants. Supplying England's major supermarket chains with soft fruit, the company has become a leading supplier to chains like Tesco, Marks & Spencer, and Waitrose. Edward Vinson has been a leader in late season fruit breeding, growing a number of original varieties including Eves Delight, Sweet Eve, Verity, and Viva Patricia.

The company's strawberry breeding programme was created in 1986, has 36,000 seedlings planted annually. This program has worked to improve Northern Europe's Everbearer varieties. Edward Vinson has 10 hectares of glass houses which contains mostly strawberry plants. These glass houses are located across South East England and produce more than 12 million new plants annually.
