Sales Director

Position Overview

A sales director is an executive level position that works on long-term plans for the success of the organization's sales department. They need to think on a national scale while also taking into consideration the needs of the organisation globally. They manage the company's sales managers to ensure the long-term goals are being met. The director of sales typically meets with the CEO, GM, or board of directors regularly to discuss their goals and to determine if they align with the strategies of the organisation as a whole.
