The Crop Protection Association
A prominent voice in the UK Plant Science Industry, The Crop Protection Association (CPA) works to promote how from seed to shelf, modern plant science helps to safeguard our food supply. Involved in a variety of plant science technologies, members participate in the development and manufacturing of these technologies helping with the cultivation and protection of crops, gardens, infrastructure, public places and woodlands. Tasks members participate in include seed and plant breeding, breeding of bees, formulation and manufacturing of bio and synthetic pesticides, and agricultural biotechnology.
The CPA aims to provide information on the crop protection industry, and also on the benefits that the company provides by engaging the public and stakeholders in dialogue. The CPA also provides information on common sense gardening for both retailers and gardeners to teach them the proper way to use, store, and dispose of garden care chemicals.
