With more than 35 years of experience, Scottish Sea Farms supplies customers worldwide with high quality Scottish salmon. At Scottish Sea Farms, each site is an individual business meaning that the managers of each site are essentially entrepreneurs. As the industry has become more modern and automated, the company has focused more on IT and equipment in order to determine and manage the performance of sites and fish. The company is based in Agryll, Scotland but extends into the northern isles of Orkney and Shetland and across the west coast.

Scottish Sea Farms also has a salmon farm in Shetland that began as a 1,500 smolts wooden cage, but has grown to a large site with 600,000 fish across 14 steel cages. Additionally, Scottish Sea Farms has two processing stations, in Shetland and Argyll, in which Scottish Sea Farms uses percussive stunners and gill cutting by auto bleeders, and then the salmon are quickly trimmed, filleted, packaged and dispatched all within two hours, meaning that the salmon is among the freshest in the UK.
