The Newbury & District Agricultural Society (NDAS)
Founded in 1909, The Newbury & District Agricultural Society (NDAS) was created with the goal of promoting agriculture excellence, and has been able to achieve that for over 100 years. NDAS puts on an agricultural show called the Royal County of Berkshire Show, which has become one of the most respected agricultural shows in the country, ranking in the top ten.
NDAS also distributes awards annually to promote excellence in academics and practice. Awards are also given for long-term service in the industry, and for new developments in machinery. NDAS focuses on education as well, with the goal of educating students on how food is produced, and how beneficial healthily-grown produce is.
