Harrogate Flower Show
Organised by the North of England Horticultural Society (NEHS), Harrogate Flower Show runs twice a year and have a reputation as the most prestigious and largest independent horticultural show. Rated as Britain's best gardening show by Which? Gardening, the Harrogate Flower Show houses the UK's top plant nurseries, and showcases work of garden designers and landscapers. The Harrogate Flower Show attracts around 1,000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors each year.
Harrogate Flower Show houses a number of different gardening and horticultural groups and enables these groups to essentially hold their own shows within the overall scheme of the Harrogate Flower Show including recruiting members and promoting the show's projects. Profits from the event are given back to the NEHS which the charity then uses to promote horticulture further. Highlights of the show include vegetable competitions, live cookery theatres, meeting specialists, garden theatre, and more.
