FARMA

As one of the largest organisations in the world that represents farmers, farmer's markets and local direct sales, FARMA has been able to work and evoke change on the national scale. With a passion to promote food which has been grown and sold by the same farmer, FARMA has been able to amass a very large membership across the UK of approximately 500 businesses, which share the same passion.

The activity both in the political arena and in the national media, promoting local direct sales and FARMA members' interests, has helped with the growth of the co-operative. FARMA is not only on the forefront of the promotion of local direct sales, but provides advice to members using a massive database of suppliers and expert contacts to help members develop their business.
