British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA)

Formed in 1965, The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) aims to develop professionals in veterinary nursing and promotes animal welfare and health. BVNA is the only organization within the UK that represents veterinary nurses and veterinary support staff.

In addition to promoting animal welfare and developing veterinary nurses, the BVNA also provides training and education, promotes the profession, helps with the development of the veterinary profession, and provides advice to the association's members. The goals of the BVNA are also supported through their council which is made up of a maximum of 12 veterinary nurses across the United Kingdom.
