Biotal

A leading UK animal nutrition company, Biotal was founded in 1983. The company specialises in developing animal nutrition and forage products using enzyme and microbial technology. Biotal is the only UK distributor of Lallemand feed additives and services agricultural companies in the UK, Italy, Russia, Ireland and the Scandinavian countries. Biotal's Research and Development and Quality Control teams are based in the company's Cardiff headquarters.

Lallemand, which Biotal is the lone UK distributor of, is located in Montreal, Canada and is a world leader in the production of yeast and bacteria in a number of fields, including animal nutrition and beverage. Working together and with universities and research institutes, Biotal and Lallemand have been able to improve animal performance, animal health, and forage quality with a variety of technological solutions and biological products. Biotal products are proven in terms of performance and efficacy, with scientific farm trials being completed in more than 15 countries.
