Agricultural Engineers Association
Established in 1875 with the intention to promote the trade, technical, and commercial interests of manufactures and suppliers of agricultural machinery in Britain, The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), has been a leader in the manufacturing of agricultural machinery and outdoor power equipment. Representing importers and manufactures of agricultural machinery and outdoor equipment, the AEA operates in two divisions: The Farm Equipment Council, and The Outdoor Power Equipment Council.
The AEA also focuses on the development of safety features for machines, and the enhancement of safety standards both for the machines and the workplace. The AEA also looks to promote the interests of wholesale distributors and manufacturers, and to improve the research, technical development and invention of machinery within the industry in any way they can. The AEA continues to develop and build upon its already large variety of land-based equipment manufacturers.
