Technical Sales Manager - OD015

We’re partnering with an innovative Agritech business headquartered in the East Midlands, that’s developing cutting-edge technology to support farmers and agronomists in making more informed decisions about their operations. The company has seen strong interest in its product, and they’re now looking to bring in a Sales Manager to capitalise on this potential and drive sales forward.

The Role:

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy alongside the Senior Management Team. Your focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and ultimately driving sales growth.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your approach, identifying key accounts, building strong relationships with customers, and nurturing long-term partnerships. You’ll work directly with agronomy companies and large farm businesses, helping to secure long-term supply agreements, while also engaging with “boots on the ground” agronomists to drive demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new opportunities with both new and existing customers

• Provide quotations and manage leads through to closure

• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts

• Meet sales targets and deliver growth

• Research competitors and market trends

• Collaborate with internal teams to support business goals

Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record in B2B sales within the agri-sector

• Strong relationships with agronomy service providers and growers

• Experience implementing growth strategies and managing accounts

• Ability to communicate technical product benefits clearly

• Strong negotiation skills and self-motivated

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

• Right to work in the UK
