Agronomist (Trainee considered)- West Scotland - LH440
You may already have experience in an agronomy sector and looking for a change to a business with exceptional career development opportunities or alternatively you could have a strong arable background looking to embark on a career in agronomy- this rare chance to join a well established team is due to expansion and ongoing success in the area.
You will be someone motivated by providing exceptional tailored technical advice to your clients, promoting a wide range of well respected products and a total solution for the mixed farming client base. In this territory most of the 1000+ serviced farms are mixed so you will need to have an understanding of livestock/grassland as well as arable. This is a rare opportunity to join a well respected team, working and training with leading Agronomists who can boast extensive experience in the Scottish agronomy sector.
The successful person will:
• Have a strong practical background, an understanding of mixed farming would be highly beneificial and a relevant degree would be advantageous.
• BASIS and/or FACTS would provide a distinct advantage, but are not essential.
• The capability to record and interpret data, utilising information provided to provide comprehensive support.
• Be a team player- the team in Scotland work collaboratively to grow the business and support each other.
• Self motivated- this is a remote role and you need to be trusted to manage your own workload effectively.
• Have a full UK driving licence.
In return, this business can provide a robust remuneration package to include basic salary, bonus/commission, company car/allowance and a comprehensive benefits programme.
Inexperienced Agronomists will be provided with a long term, clear career development programme which will include any relevant training and qualifications over a 2-3 year period.
