Until recently, this family-owned arable business has been managed exclusively by the family but due to significant expansion which has taken them up to farming 2500 acres over recent years, it is now time to invest in a Farm Manager. The main crops currently grown are cereals and potatoes across a combination of owned and contract land across Perthshire and Fife. This is a well equipped and innovative enterprise, you will be working with top quality machinery, storage facilities and technology.

The farm is based in picturesque Perthshire, with all the benefits of beautiful rural Scotland with great transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow. You will be rewarded with a competitive package to include a vehicle and accommodation.

 

The successful person will:

• Be experienced in all aspects of arable operations

• Be a team player, happy to get stuck in where required. Leadership experience is advantageous.

• Have an understanding of servicing and maintaining modern farm equipment.

• Good work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn - this is a significant training opportunity!

• PA1 and 2 as a minimum, FACTS and BASIS would be advantageous.

• High attention to detail, including record keeping and health and safety.
