Cattle Genetics Business Development Manager- Scotland - LC140
I am looking for an experienced salesperson with a strong dairy and beef background to join a market leading and highly successful business due to expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven person who has the desire to make a difference on behalf of a company with innovative and technically strong products.
This is truly an exciting and industry shaping position which involves a lot of autonomy, you can really make this role your own. You will be working closely with both the sales and senior management team to grow sales and relationships in Scotland as well as managing key accounts.
This company offers exceptional customer service and technical support to their clients, delivering the most positive experience to secure repeat business. You will need to have an excellent understanding of cattle and ideally an understanding of the significance of breeding and genetics.
What would I be doing in this role?
- You will be out on farm, dealing with key accounts.
- Driving new business, developing long term business relationships.
- Providing technical support and advice.
- Liaising with the sales and senior management team.
- Maintaining your expertise in the genetics sector to include the company's product portfolio.
- Travelling both in the UK and internationally when required.
What do I need to have for this role?
- A passion for the UK cattle industry.
- Full UK Driving license.
- Self-motivated, driven, resilient.
- Adaptable, able to change with the market.
