De Lacy Executive are seeking a Poultry Senior Quality Assurance Manager in the West Midlands with extensive travel throughout the UK and Europe on behalf of our market leading global client.

This position provides the opportunity to join a successful and financially secure company which can provide excellent career development with ample room for progression within the company. This role is seen as a critical role within the company with true autonomy, therefore the candidate will need to have extensive experience in quality assurance/meat inspection.

This position will involve auditing throughout the supply chain for our client, this will include inspecting welfare standards at farms and slaughterhouses, feedmills, ingredient suppliers and hatcheries.

Candidate Requirements

• A poultry welfare qualification or veterinary qualification would be a distinct advantage.
• Extensive experience working in auditing is essential.
• A relevant degree such as agriculture, food or applied science would be desirable.
• Multi-lingual communication in other European languages would be advantageous.
• Communication and team management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive attitude.
