De Lacy Executive is seeking a knowledgeable Horticultural Production Process Manager for a progressive fruit business based in Herefordshire. The successful applicant will be responsible for the running of all packhouse operations and the people within. The position is varied and highly rewarding, we are looking for an individual who will embrace the responsibility, motivate staff and thrive in peak periods.

The company supplies UK supermarkets so must undergo a range of audits throughout the year, as Manager you will play a vital role in all onsite audits. For the right candidate there is the opportunity to take part in an assortment of training courses to continue to develop as a member of the management team.

Requirements:

• People management - ability to communicate through all levels of the business.
• Previous experience in fresh produce, ideally soft fruit - not essential.
• Flexible working hours during peak season
• An adaptable and enthusiastic attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• An excellent communicator.
• The understanding of key elements of the packing line.
• A Full UK driving licence.

Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package is offered depending on experience and qualifications.
