Shipping Agent - Agricultural Sector - L181

De Lacy Executive seeks a unique individual to join a well-established and progressive Company as a Shipping Agent to be based on the South Coast.

The purpose of the role will be to oversee the arrival, turnaround and departure of vessels from 2 sites. The ideal candidate will be the main contact point for third parties, port authorities, ship owner and crews whilst in dock.

You will also be responsible for managing pro-forma invoices for owners, raising service invoices and insurance to owners and agents and producing all documentation required for grain exports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally, shipping agent experience or port-side working.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Happy to work under own initiative.
• Flexible approach to working hours to suit peaks and troughs in seasonal activity - particularly in harvest time.
• IT literate.
• Full clean driving licence.

Remuneration: An excellent remuneration and package will be on offer dependent on experience.
