Our client, a reputable, agricultural machinery dealership with multiple branches across Western Australia, is seeking a Service Manager to lead a team of 4-5 technicians. You will have a proven background in the service of agricultural machinery and, ideally, will have successfully managed people in a previous role. You will have a strong technical background and bring excellent organisational skills. You will also have experience of (or aptitude for) P&L management and reporting.
You would benefit from a varied role that is part workshop/field based.

What your 'day-to-day' will look like:
- Lead on the efficient running of the service department
- Oversee and organise service schedule
- Responsibility for parts management/ordering
- Process repair orders through CRM
- Manage and report on departmental P&L to senior management
- Assume the role of technical lead for both staff and customers
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction both in depot and field
- Liaise and build relationships across the customer base
What you will possess:
- Mechanical engineering (or equivalent in a related field) degree
- Strong practical experience of modern agricultural machinery
- A genuine commitment to building a career in Australia
- Previous management experience or supervisory is desirable
- Familiarity with profit/loss management and reporting
- Excellent communication skills
- Be well organised and have the ability to multitask efficiently
