Ruminant Nutrition – Area Sales Manager – Cheshire - JH358

Have you reached the pinnacle of your sales career and are looking for the next step? In this sales and people management role, you will relish the idea of building your own team and being responsible for the growth of sales in your area.

This highly respected business are proud of their excellence in ruminant nutrition advice and are seeking a new member of the team due to substantial growth. You will be responsible for the Cheshire region of the country where you will be calling on farms to offer sound technical, nutritional advice to ruminant customers whilst also being responsible for your own sales ledger with the aim to bring new people into the business and grow your own regional team.

The business has grown and thrived by adapting their offering to their customers’ demands whilst remaining true to its core values and expertise. This is a business where you will feel at home, valued and where a handshake and your word goes a long way.

I would like to speak to people who already have a sound, demonstratable ledger in the Cheshire area who are looking for a step up to team management. You will work closely with the Director to grow and develop your region whilst having support from your colleagues in other regions. This is a close knit team who are passionate about feeding cows.

Full training and support will be provided, however this is a well represented region so you must show grit and determination to succeed in order to grow the brand in this area.

You will be well rewarded and there is a strong salary package and uncapped commission on offer to reflect experience and ample room to grow within the business.


You will:

• Manage and grow existing sales and develop new sales opportunities in the territory

• Maintain and grow target margins/profitability

• Undertake a high level of farm and customer visits to achieve business growth requirements

• Have an ever- learning mindset and desire to grow personally and professionally

• Have excellent organisational and communication skills

• Have a resilient character and a high level of self motivation.
