Equine and Animal Health Business Development Manager - Wales/Midlands - JH215
Are you a passionate and proven Equestrian or Animal Health Sales person who thrives of a challenge and the opportunity to promote business growth? In this exciting role being in the heart of the business development, you will be responsible for Wales, West and East Midlands and you will have the opportunity to represent many household name brands and products.
My client manufactures a range of agricultural and equestrian products, they have grown to be one of UK's largest and most respected Equine & Animal Welfare wholesalers, with over 250 brands and 20,000 SKU's.
You will be confident in your ability and knowledge, have a strong affinity with sales, will be target driven, adaptable and enthusiastic about the Equine and Animal Health sector.
You'll be home based and will travel the territory (you will be used to driving and overnight stays) as well travelling to the head office in Lincoln on occasion. You'll be partaking in sales meetings with customers at their own offices as well as in the on-site showroom in Lincoln and required to attend trade shows as and when they occur, including on some weekends.
To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record of minimum 2 years successful B2B field sales or a managerial role within equine retail.
Your Day To Day:
- Present current range, new products and promotions to drive sales via retail premises and e.comm websites.
- Use data to effectively formulate action plans, drive sales and report actions against targets.
- Deliver a high level of customer service, to assess customer needs, offer support and implement action plans.
- Evaluate customer feedback and liaise with relevant business teams.
- Support customers with the presentation of products which best represent brands.
- Support customer event days and complete in store training.
