INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER ? MACHINERY ? FRANCE/GERMANY
A Sales Manager is required for the arable machinery market in the countries of France and Germany, primarily. This is a new role created as a result of significant growth in the company. Previous sales experience in agricultural machinery/equipment is preferred.
The role is to develop sales of patented machinery, sales of which have doubled in each of the last 2 years. The product offers significant economies and improved yields
The role requires someone with the skill to independently identify opportunities with significant opinion forming arable farmers in France and Germany. The approach to the market will be flexible - once a business base has been built in a country it may then be appropriate to appoint dealerships ? but the ability to be a good sales opener with farmers at shows and other events is essential. This small but very robust and successful business can provide the technical backup to assist in closing the deal
The role is open to those who have a right to permanent residency in the EU though the preference, not essential, is that the successful candidate be based in the eastern arable area of the UK. The role reports to the Sales Director who is based in the UK.

The successful candidate will have a strong agricultural background. International sales experience is highly preferable with contacts in the international machinery sector.
International travel will be required involving a number of nights away from home each month. When in the UK the role will be based at the company?s office.
The rewards are negotiable and will include a competitive basic salary with a significant performance related bonus.
