Group Parts Manager: Agricultural Machinery - New Zealand - JN184

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Parts Manager to oversee the parts department across the New Zealand business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, leading a team of parts specialists, and ensuring exceptional customer service in parts sales and support.

Relocation support will be offered making this a viable opportunity for an individual, couple or family. The client is a fully accredited SSE employer in partnership with New Zealand Immigration. 


Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize parts inventory management, procurement, and distribution across multiple depots.

Lead and mentor a team of parts specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality parts and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.

Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to identify parts needs and streamline processes for efficient customer support.

Monitor parts sales performance, analyse trends, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards in all parts operations.


Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in parts management, preferably in the agricultural machinery industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve departmental goals.

Knowledge of agricultural machinery and parts is highly desirable.
