Formulator/ Trainee Nutritionist- North Yorkshire (Hybrid- 2 days WFH) - LH454

A leading animal nutrition business are looking to expand their team, this is a rare opportunity for a Formulator or Trainee Nutritionist to work towards becoming a Nutritionist within a leading company.

For over 40 years this business has been at the forefront of developing quality feeds for both pig and game birds and hold a leading position in this sector. You will be working with the Head Nutritionist who has a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on.

 

You will need:

• Experience in formulating, ideally using BestMix or similar- this is essential.

• A relevant degree at BSc or above in a relevant subject would be advantageous.

• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

• A strong understanding of nutrition, those with swine nutritional backgrounds would be of particular interest.

• Be based in, or willing to relocate to North Yorkshire.

 

The role will involve:

• Pricing and set up of products using BestMix.

• Amendments to formula/ legislation change labels.

• Assisting with admin around raw materials and new products.

• Once trained, rationing on farm and over the phone.

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to include vets and sales teams.

 

Salary package will be dependent on experience and include 33 days holiday.
