Broiler Lead (UK & RoI) - Animal Health Multinational - JN192
Play a central role in driving the broiler division of an international market-leader in animal health.
With a strong technical and commercial skillset, together with good connections across the UK poultry sector, you will benefit from world-class support and career development.
The role will utilise your relationships with key customers (including poultry integrators and veterinary practices among others) and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
You will be an established animal health or veterinary professional from within the poultry industry. The company can offer the right person clear career pathways towards leading a business unit.
Key responsibilities:
• Coordinate the broiler range to ensure its promotion, growth of sales and profitability
• Create and implement the broiler marketing plan with defined KPIs
• Manage 1 to 3 local Key Broiler Accounts (up to 5 in specific cases)
• Develop robust Account Business Plans and review then on a regular basis
• Coordinate with global and local Poultry Veterinary Services and Poultry Vaccination services teams
• Differentiate Ceva offerings, to create long term mutual value for Ceva and the customers
• Gather market intelligence, analyse Ceesa data, development relationships with KOL
• Segmentation of customers (eg broiler companies and prescribing vets, anaylse Ceva and market penetration)
• Manage forecasting and supply of broiler products with UK supply team
• Manage Marketing and Technical budgets relating to broiler range
Your profile:
• Customer knowledge: Field experience, with a very good knowledge of the veterinary issues/breeders/livestock processes and economics
• Poultry diseases and diagnosis knowledge
• Market knowledge & business acumen
• Negotiation & closing skills
• Communication & presentation Skills: ability to speak to an internal or external audience
• Strategic planning & value co-creation: ability to create Strategic Plans by accurately anticipating future trends/ consequences
• Encourage team spirit with colleagues and encourage in cross-functional working within the UK and Corporate teams.
• Ability to impact / convince
• Ability to build external long-term relationships / developing a network
