COMMERCIAL QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER. Home based: East - SW West.

A Commercial Quality Assurance Manager, home based but able to travel to sites from East Anglia to SW England, is required for a blue chip client in the food manufacturing and agriculture sector. The role will report to the company's Quality Manager and will be responsible for the Quality Assurance element of the relationship with customers to give them confidence in the quality and safety of the products they purchase and the service they are given. Key Responsibilities: •To promote the development and provision of reports and data to customers as required, and meeting with selected customers to build and maintain relationships and trust. •Management of internal and external customers' expectations. •Ensuring Operations, Customer Services and all Commercial departments understand what is required of them in respect of Customers' Quality Experience. •Supporting colleagues, particularly in Operations, to ensure that actions in relation to compliance, assurance and product quality are delivered. •Management of a first class complaints handling, resolution and preventative action system.

The successful candidate. Our client is seeking a well presented ambassador for the company who balances a determination to meet customer needs with what is commercially sensible; who is able to 'translate' customer requirements into the language of trading, manufacturing and transport; who is driven by the desire to be the best in the industry and who will be: •Experienced in either the food manufacturing or feed manufacturing sector. •Able to build and manage effective professional relationships. •Analytical with effective problem solving skills. •Highly effective at verbal communication with the ability to tailor messages to the needs of the recipients. •Able to handle complaints effectively. •Experienced in compiling and presenting reports and data. •Able to efficiently manage a heavy workload with the ability to balance reactive and proactive demands. •Innovative. •Commercially aware. •Committed to providing superior customer service. •Self motivated. •Resilient and assertive. •Prepared to travel to customers' and suppliers' premises and company sites for meetings and to to deliver the customer an impressive service. •The holder of a full, valid UK Driving Licence.

Remuneration: a very competitive package will be offered to include salary, car, pension and bonus.
