Account Manager - Animal Nutrition - UK and Ireland - H178
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager in the ruminant and monogastric feed sector. The person will be expected to cover the UK and Ireland but further international travel may be required.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Animal Nutrition Product Manager and support other account managers. They will be confident at going out in front of customers, making appointments and setting objectives.
The products are high value additives used by compounders and blenders. Therefore the role involves selling through the trade. The company is well established in this specialist sector but with opportunity for further growth in market share.
- Previous experience in livestock feed sales.
- Nutritional understanding of either the ruminant, monogastric, pet, equestrian or aquaculture industries. Experience in more than one of these sectors would be desirable.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in an agricultural related discipline is preferable.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Willingness to travel a large territory.
- Drive and enthusiasm.
- Valid UK driving license.
