Technical Sales Manager - UK - Pig Nutrition - G402

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager, focusing on swine nutrition to join a well-established and growing Animal Health and Nutrition business.

The successful applicant will preferably have monogastric nutrition knowledge, be results focused with good negotiating skills, a motivated self-starter with drive, ambition and the ability to work within a focused and committed team.

The company has a range of high quality products, which give proven results, excellent performance, and have an excellent reputation. The company believe in offering their customers quality and service at all times. This role will be home-based and can be based at any location in England, although there will be lots of travel to primary pig producers all around England.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and developing business opportunities within the pig sector.
  • Managing and developing relationships with customers.
  • Account management.
  • Supporting customers with the delivery of technically relevant information.
  • Working with the company's technical team to deliver excellent nutritional advice.

Key attributes of the successful candidate:

  • Ideally have experience within a technical/commercial role. Confidence in dealing with customers, and the ability to develop long-term business relationships.
  • Excellent mongastric nutritional knowledge
  • Practical knowledge of pig systems
  • Excellent communication/negotiation/presentation skills
  • Determination, drive, initiative and attention to detail.
  • Team player - able to work within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Full UK driving licence.

Previous sales experience, ideally selling animal feed, feed additives or animal health products is highly desirable but we would be interested to hear from highly technical and enthusiastic candidates looking to start a sales career.
