DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a well established agricultural business manufacturing poultry equipment for a large niche sector and which has reached the key stage in its development where it is ready to expand into export markets.
As the first step in this expansion plan an exciting and challenging new senior role is to be created. An experienced person is required who is capable of identifying and appointing additional distributors across Europe and the developed world, including Australasia and North America, and then to manage them for success.
Whilst the company operates within the free range poultry farming market (and broiler breeder market) experience of agricultural sales is not essential. knowledge of agriculoture would be very helpful. Experience of the sales of equipment or capital goods in an international role would be important however.
A determined and energetic person is required with a “can do” attitude. The successful person must be willing to travel extensively though not continuously - on occasions there will be a need to be away from home for a couple of weeks at a time.
The opportunity for sales and personal growth is significant. A remuneration package will be offered to reflect the importance of this senior role to the company. For the right person, once proven, a directorship and a financial stake in the company may be available.
