BUSINESS MANAGER - CWG DIRECT - DIRECT SALES
DESCRIPTION:
Established in 1929, with a turnover in excess of £20 millions, CWG has undergone significant change in the last 2 years to ensure it is strongly positioned to meet the Farm & Rural market opportunities. It is the market leader in supplying a comprehensive product range via retail and direct marketing to farming businesses, the equine sector and rural dwellers in the Eastern region.
Scope of the Job
This new position, reporting directly to the Managing Director, is to develop new trading methods to compliment the existing Retail and Farm Representative sales. This is likely to be through the development of ecommerce as well as proactive telesales and catalogue based sales. The candidate will be expected to:
Create a new strategic plan for the development of the CWG Direct model.
Identify opportunities and prioritise their development.
Develop a team to drive this significant project forward.
Implement a strategy to build and integrate ecommerce with other sales.
Be a member of the senior management team, overseeing development of CWG.
Applicants will have the following skills and attributes
A good analytical mind to problem solving and instigating solutions.
The ability to demonstrate business development in a similar or related industry.
Good communication both to staff and the senior management.
PC Competency and literacy, preferably with experience of ecommerce.
The ability to act as a team player
100% commitment and drive to achieving the overall goals of the business.
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package will be offered including company car, contributory pension and private health. It is expected that the role would be based at one of the CWG sites within its trading area.
