The company’s success has earned a high rating in financial circles.
Based at its Head Office in Ellesmere, Shropshire, the company has a vacancy for the senior management role of Export Manager who will report to the Chief Executive and who is able to thrive in a culture of honesty, integrity, loyalty and service.
The key element of this challenging and fascinating role is the expansion of sales through the international distribution network. Working with national distributors to identify opportunities and proactively create plans that will develop business in each country, the successful applicant will need to travel widely throughout the world, for up to 50% of the year. Contacts will range from farmers to multinational corporations to embassies.
For success strong motivational selling and communication skills are required plus an ability to network effectively at all levels. Culturally sensitive, the Export Manager will be commercially aware, able to identify opportunities in each country and be able to facilitate sales by bringing people and components together. This role also demands the talents of a team player with initiative, innovation and a sense of humour!
Candidates must have an excellent understanding of agricultural production systems, ideally dairy, and preferably have experience of working in a national role for a manufacturer selling through dealerships. Previous export experience would be ideal but is not essential.
